What makes life ‘life’ is events.

Events to celebrate, events to share, and events to reflect.

Here at St Paul’s, we can help you create the perfect moment, whatever the event, a special occasion for you and your family.

Whether you are looking to get married, request a Banns Certificate or arrange to get yourself or your child baptised, just complete one of the forms below, and a member of our team will be in touch.

Weddings

We’d love to do everything we can to make your wedding day a memorable occasion for you and your loved ones. Therefore, please give as much detail as you can about your wedding using the form below, including if you would like to hear more about the wedding packages that we offer.

The situation and facilities of our campus, next to the historic Clarence Park and to the sea front makes it an ideal venue for all your wedding needs. Please be aware that any dates are not secured until you have received written confirmation, and a deposit has been received.

I’m getting married elsewhere and need a Banns certificate!

You may live within the St Paul’s parish boundary but are getting married in another church. For this you will require a Banns certificate. Please complete the form below and our team will process your request.

Baptism

At St Paul’s, we offer both adult baptisms, along with Child baptisms (christenings) and dedications.

Child Baptisms and Dedications

Adult Baptisms

Whether your child is being baptised or dedicated, it’s the start of an amazing journey of faith. For the child they’re being welcomed into, and becoming part of, the family of God. For the parents too it is the ultimate act of giving: placing something so precious into the arms of another, a loving God.

As part of a child baptism, which is sometimes called a christening, a child is marked with the sign of the cross and commended in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

A dedication is less formal and usually involves a series of prayers for the child an their family during our 11am service.

For adults too, baptism symbolises the end of your old life and the start of your new life with Jesus!

But it’s far more than symbolism, as we believe God is deeply at work in you as you enter, and come up out of, the water. As with child baptism, adults are also getting baptised into a new community, the family of God.

We welcome anyone to be baptised who has begun this new life with Jesus and who had begun regularly attending one of our Sunday gatherings.

Complete the form and we will be in touch with you soon.
